PS26 #16: Club Scrap Extraordinary Scrap Page

(repost from my "other" blog)

Happy Saturday!

I'm finally catching up on my Project Scrapbook26!
I have a page to share today...
I used a sketch from SketchNScrap #87:

And here's my take...very linear...
I'll add a photo of my hubby and me that a friend took last weekend. Just waiting for the pic!

I used mostly plain cardstocks, blue pearlescent paper and a patterned paper. I flicked some Walnut Ink for added interest.
I stamped and heat embossed (in silver) the "medallion" on the left...then, layered with the blue paper and a cutapart from the Woven Strands Club Scrap Deluxe Kit.

Some of the details:

I also added an embroidered doily and a wooden embellishment...I chose to leave it as is, but you could paint it to match your colors.

Supplies:
Woven Strands Club Scrap Deluxe Kit
VersaMark
Silver Embossing Powder
Heat Gun
Black Pen
VersaMagic Tea Leaves ink pad
Walnut Ink in green (Tsukineko/Imagine Crafts)

Challenges:
1. SketchNScrap #87

Have a nice weekend!

PS26 #15 + Sketchabilities

Happy Monday, crafty friends!

I am really behind on my Project Scrapbook26!!! Like a MONTH behind!

For PS26 #15, I used the sketch #144 from Sketchabilities...

And here's my take on the sketch:

I have a wedding to attend this weekend, so I thought I would have the page ready, then...I just have to take and print the photos that day, adhered them on, frame it and I'll have a gift in no time!
I used patterned papers with silver foil, 3-D stickers, and Prima flowers.

Challenges:

Have a nice week!

FCCB + PS26 #14: Fun in the Sun

Repost from my other blog...

Happy Monday and welcome to another FCCB Monday challenge!

Challenge #256-Fun in the Sun
Create a project that features outdoor summer activities.

This Weeks Sponsor

The prize is 7 digital stamps!

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

I'm behind on my Project Scrapbook26...where I post layouts every other week... So I combined this challenge with it!
Here's my scrapbook page #14:

I used:
Cricut When I was a Kid
Sponsor's image - Monster #5

This was an easy page to put together!
All I needed was the patterned paper and stickers that came with the kit; "Beach Day", "Fun&Sun" and wave from Cricut cartridges; a brad, a black pen to outline (title and arrow sticker), the Digi stamp, Copic markers and Glossy Accents (for the "wet" look on wave and sentiment).

P - patterned paper
H - hexagon/honeycomb stickers
O - orange chevron sticker (arrow)
